Darlene F. (Olson) Phillips

January 9, 1935—March 2, 2022

Darlene F. Phillips, 87, died March 2, 2022, at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Webster City.

Darlene is survived by her children, Keith (Jane) Phillips, Pam (Harold) Summers, and Robin (Brian) Lang, nine grandkids, 18 great grandkids, three great-great grandkids and one great-great-great grandkid on the way, and a brother Sonny Olson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmo Phillips, her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Darlene F. Olson, the daughter of Harold and Fay (Howard) Olson, was born January 9, 1935, in Fort Dodge. She attended Iowa School for the Deaf in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

She was united in marriage to Elmo C. Phillips. They made their home in Fort Dodge, where they raised their children. She moved to Goldfield and then to Webster City before moving into Crestview Nursing Home.

Darlene loved watching her soap operas, Nascar racing and enjoyed word search puzzles and playing Bingo.

Family services will be held on May 25, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge, Iowa.  Every one is welome to attend the memorial service.
