William (Bill) Murray

May 19, 1937—June 11, 2022

Wil0liam (Bill) Robert Murray, age 85, passed away June 11, 2022, quietly at home in Lillian, Alabama.

He was born May 19, 1937, to Leslie and Ester (Reynolds) Murray in Omaha, Nebraska.

He worked as a typesetter/pressman at the Omaha World Herald until he moved on to teach the craft at Iowa Western Community College, from which he retired.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing and riding his golf cart.

He loved visits from his children and dining out.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his sons, Patrick, Michael, Eric and William Murray; his sisters, Roberta Carson, Betty Seymour, and Jean Kiser.

Bill is survived by his wife, Judith of Lillian Alabama; sons, Robert (Barb) Murray, Council Bluffs, Kirk (Barb) Murray, Mansfield, Texas, Tyler (Sam), Pensacola, Florida; and daughter, Kelley (Leonard) Pruett, Council Bluffs; and many grandchildren; and great grandchildren. His final resting place will be Garner Township, Council Bluffs, Iowa, at a later date.
