Wanda I. Garrison

October 23, 1942 - August 22, 2016

Wanda I. Garrison, age 73, of Council Bluffs, passed away on August 22nd, 2016 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

Wanda was born on October 23rd, 1942 in Council Bluffs, to the late Earl and Dora (Neve) Garrison. She graduated from Iowa School for the Deaf in 1961.  She was affiliated with Deaf Missions.

Wanda is survived by her brother, Butch and many nieces and nephews, including Pam Minor and Debra Garrison.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.…

Visitation with her family was held on Thursday, August 25 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Cutler-O'Neill Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory, 545 Willow Avenue, Council Bluffs, IA 51503   Funeral services was held at 11 a.m. at the same location.  Interment at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, 1350 E. Pierce Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa 51503 after the services.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Midlands Living Center for taking such exceptional care of Wanda for many years.
