Message from Mary:

Dear Everyone,

On September 19th, 2022, I passed away peacefully.

I was preceded in death by my parents Wilfred and Mildred Hines, my brothers Bill, Tom, and David, my husband Tom Case, and several nieces and nephews.

I am survived by my sister Sally, my daughters Angela Coffin and Christy Krohn, my grandchildren Samantha, Eddie, and Nicole Krohn, many nieces and nephews, and former husband Franklin Wernimont.

I grew up in Minneapolis, MN, but spent many years living in various other states such as Iowa, Texas, and Arizona.

I enjoyed being an active member of the deaf community, and meeting new friends everywhere I lived. One of my favorite life sayings was “Live, Laugh, Love”.

I was so grateful to have seen my grandchildren grow up to be wonderful young adults.

My proudest moment was teaching them how to speak in sign language.

My beloved daughter, Brenda, unfortunately passed away one day before me. I hope to be reunited with her, as well as other friends and family.

Love and Hugs,

Mary Susa
