Kenneth Brundidge

September 19, 1941 - January 25, 1941

Kenneth R. Brundidge, age 74, of Council Bluffs, passed away January 25, 2016, at the Nebraska Medical Center.

He was born in Oakland, Iowa, on September 19, 1941, to the late Donald and Dorothy (Hamilton) Brundidge. Kenneth graduated from Oakland, Iowa High School and then attended Dana College for undergraduate studies. He graduated from UNO with a Master’s Degree in Deaf Education. Kenneth taught at Iowa School for the Deaf before retiring in 1999.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Wohlers.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Karen Brundidge; sons and daughters-in-law, Kendall and Jayme Brundidge, Kurtis and Sasha Brundidge; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Bob Kullbom; grandchildren, Blake, Ava, Liam, Ila, Vada and Pierson.

Visitation is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Thursday, at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home, Council Bluffs, Iowa. Funeral service is 10 a.m., on Friday, at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Interment will be later that afternoon in the Carson, Iowa Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
